This clip is from the track "Spirited Adventure," and demonstrates a smooth transition between compositional variants in the piece. The underlying rhythm was consistent between the origin and the destination of the cut, which allowed for a seamless sweep between the two overlaid melodies. Finding the right placement and overlap is a necessity to ensure the cut will sound perfect, like the song was performed this way to begin with.

This 1:12 clip encompases the main portion affected by the cut. We needed to trim out about 30-35 seconds here without negatively affecting the power and the driving rhythm.

The final cut in this section took out 0:33 and accomplished our goals quite nicely. This cut allowed the choreographer to work with more of the complete journey, ultimately enhancing the story she wanted to tell her audience.
